How it all got started
David Rosas and his wife, Ely, live in the small town of Imuris, Sonora in Mexico. Imuris is about one hour south of the Nogales, AZ border.
As a child, David grew up in an orphanage in Imuris. Unfortunately, like many youth who age out of orphanages, David got lured into a life of crime.
But, God had better plans for David. After marrying Ely and starting a family, David and Ely came to know the saving grace of Jesus.
They soon felt God's call to rescue abandoned and neglected children from the streets to give them a chance at a better life than David has experienced as a child.
On September 17, 2012, David and Ely opened their home to abandoned and orphaned children and officially started Casa Hogar Sinai.
Today, David and Ely are caring for over 30 children and raising them in the knowledge of the Gospel and the love of God.
Without any government support, they must rely completely on donations from caring people like you to house, feed, nurture, and educate the children. Scroll down to see how you can help with a current area of need!
