Since 1985 when my father built an orphanage in Mexico, I have been involved in this work. From just hanging out with the kids, to tracking them down on the streets when they have been lost, to sitting in a board room to raise money, to installing solar panels on a roof, this has been my life. I love the work, and I have seen miracles happen in these little ones' lives that keeps me going! I hope something here inspires you and moves you to act. You will never regret it. |

My first introduction to orphanages was in Mexico was when I was 8 years old. My parents took us six kids in a VW van down the Baja peninsula to visit a poor little orphanage. When I was 13, my mom got hired on staff at that little orphanage and took my brother and me down to live with her for a few years. In my early twenties, I joined the orphanage staff as a mechanic and as the children's church leader.
Fast forward 30 years and here I am again working with orphanages. What a blessing to partner with these orphanages and ministries around the world that strive to help hurting families and children. The goal is to give them life-transforming hope through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to help them develop life and vocational skills to equip them for work that can sustain them and their families.
